Our work is characterised by a working methodology rather than a style. Whether its in the design of objects, interiors or structures, we respond to context, site and observations in order to create relationships between people, places and things.
Our outputs are varied, but the commonality that runs through them is engagement. We aim to involve people in the process of design, creation or interaction in each project we do. Often we find that the physical outcome is secondary to the process of getting there.
MakeAs Designer Makers, the production of things is intrinsically linked to our experience and understanding of the way things are made and constructed. We manufacture and assemble structures and bespoke items within our Manchester based workshop.
