Portrait Pantograph

We were partnered with Dandara Living for the 50 Windows of Creativity project to create an engaging and Covid safe interactive display. Visitors are able to stand at the window and have their portrait drawn by the artist behind the glass. A lever (the pantograph) simultaneously replicates the squiggles into a drawing on paper. As the Guardian states, ‘It feels intimate, fractured and faintly ridiculous: a fitting metaphor for social interaction in 2020’.
